You may work both in our dementia units and somatic units.

We are looking for someone who is a team player and wants to contribute to the team through the exchange of skills, development, job satisfaction, and a flexible working approach.

Your duties include care work, and the content of the shifts is based on the needs and wishes of the elderly. This may involve social interaction with our elderly residents, assisting with meals, and personal hygiene. For us, the importance of activities for our elderly is a significant part of daily work, and we actively work to continuously develop this.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a care assistant education. If you have experience working in elderly care or home care, we consider that an advantage. It is also advantageous if you have previously worked with quality registers BPSD and Senior Alert. Social documentation is an important part of the work, which means you need to express yourself well in the Swedish language, both spoken and written.

Good to know

Provided that you meet the requirements for the position, it is mandatory to undergo a digital language test to ensure competence at level B1 according to the Council of Europe’s standards before the interview. Please note that the process will be interrupted if the language test is not passed. You will need to identify yourself with Bank-ID to take the language test.

Furulund is a special accommodation with 94 apartments for people who, for various reasons, do not live in their ordinary accommodation. We have two departments for people with some form of dementia and one somatic department. Our goal is for the residents to be able to influence their daily lives so that their existence becomes the best and that the staff's approach is filled with respect, empathy, and attentiveness.
